Here is a link for anyone with hi-speed to the news story:

http://www.azcentral.com/phpAPP/mul...pm.wmv&HTTP_REFERER=http://www.azcentral.com/

Basically a quad rider collided with a bike rider and the bike rider got killed. I feel for the family and hope they catch the guy who took off after the accident. This is nothing against quad riders, mind you, but should reflect on the character of the person who left the scene. Don't know the whole story from the brief interviews, but obviously there were witnesses.

Ride safe out there..and of course, never leave the scene of an accident.

Hit and run types drive all sorts of vehicles...just remember that.

Terrible news none-the-less.

Total scum that would leave any sort of crash and not check on the condition of the other rider and offer help.

That sucks, bad.

Do you know where did that happen? I just searched every news site I could find hoping to see a print version, but nothing.

I heard about this right after it happened. I feel for the family and friends.

About 2 years ago one of the students in my class was killed when a sandrail hit him head-on near Yuma. It was a huge shock to everything, great kid. I can only imagine the state the ATV rider is in right now, its being talked about everywhere, hopefully he's been sleep deprived and hidding in his closet.

Forgot to mention, I think there is a $5000 dollar reward for this excuse-for-a-human being. Contact the Maricopa county sheriffs office with any reputable information.
