I've been enjoying all the posts since Sunday night (Fred had already written a lengthy dissertation by the time we even got home, woke up the kids, unloaded, unpacked, etc.) What a great group of people. I especially appreciate that we can bring our kids to such an event where they are so well cared for and looked after. With the exception of the "Bob and Tom" references, and the tatoo saga by Michman, most of the conversation was kid friendly. Thanks! Aaron's dad, you have raised yourself one fine son. His thoughtfullness around the campfire (getting up to fetch another chair when both myself and Marie showed up) did not go unnoticed. He could give lessons to some of the men folk. Zach's dad, it was our pleasure to look after your son. The girls actually fought over him a bit. He is one fine young man. He changed in and out of his riding gear several times on Saturday, each time needing only slight help buckling his boots. He was very meticulous about turning off the gas when he parked his bike. You're teaching him well. Good luck healing. Our prayers are with you. Mike, sorry about dropping the staple gun in the dirt. By the third time I ran it over, I finally figured out why it kept falling out. Hopefully Ian got all the arrows off the trees. (Did ya like the "W"rong arrow I put on the fallen tree going high over the trail that goes up near the road? I'm not sure Ian noticed that one.) I have a new appreciation for the arrow-putter-upper-guys that mark the enduro races. Seriously, Mike, thanks for making each rider feel welcome. I'm sure the next Trail Feast (Fest?) will be an even greater success because of your hospitality. TTFN!
