Transition from 250 to 450

I have been riding my 2005 yz250f for two years now and I just want a bigger bike I guess it's a self esteem issue and a suspension issue I weigh 195 and I don't think the 250 is not cutting it I don't race I just casual ride at a friends house and a few trails has anyone transitioned from a 250 to a 450? And what were the most difficult things that came with the change?

Seriously there's just not that much difference between a 250f and a 450. You'll have a lot more power is all.

They aren't that much heavier, and so long as the suspension is setup for you properly on each bike, you shouldn't notice too much difference there.

One thing I did notice, being a bigger guy, is that the 450 doesn't run out of power nearly as quick as the 250 did.

Otherwise, I didn't really see what all the fuss was about.

Find someone with a 450 and ride it. Tell us what you think.

I recently rode a 06 YZF450 and I couldnt beleive the power it had. It has alot more than my 91 CR250.
