Transmission Fluid Question

I bought this transmission fluid from the honda shop in town
Bel-Ray Gear Saver Motorcycle Transmission Oil 80W

The guy there said it would work but when reading the back it says for 2 strokes. Is it the wrong stuff?

It will only work if your four-stroke has seperate chambers for the transmission oil and the engine oil like the Honda CRF450 & CRF250.

If it's a shared system where the engine oil also lubricates the transmission (Yamaha YZF, older XRs etc) , then this is not the correct oil.
