I have seen a few threads about KTM's having transmission noise and I just want to make sure what I am experiencing is the same thing. My tranny sounds just like a worn out bearing, sort of a growling noise. It lessens when the clutch is engaged. Funny thing is, I now have 6 hours on the bike and for the first 3 I didn't notice anything. I was so fixated on it yesterday while riding that I could swear when upshifting from 1st to 2nd, it would stick in neutral. When it was cold, at the beginning of the day, it would click nicely from 1st to 2nd. Now its probably me fixating on the noise and subconsciously shifting improperly, but please "validate my feelings." Is anything here of concern? Any connection between the shifting and the noise?

Check the aluminum nut that holds the primary gear on the end of the crankshaft. They have been known to come loose, causing some bearing like noise and a grabby clutch.
