TT-R 125

My son is interested in a new TT-R 125 and I was wondering if anyone has any info on this bike such as access to aftermarket parts, reliability, performance, etc.

Also, has anyone raced one of these bikes before? Can it be used in competition with some mods?

They've been good trail/play bikes but don't think they're highly competitive. Even with engine mods, they won't keep up with a 80. But they run well, last pretty good, and are a little more updated than the XRs. Suspension is pretty limited.

BBR makes stuff for them. :)

dirtbikeguy - BBR makes everything from trick airfilters to full blown CR style aluminum chassis for the TTR. Powroll and Frank Nye at Engines Only also make trick hop up parts. As FC pointed out the bike is pretty much bulletproof so the only limitations are your sense of financial well being and you imagination. :D
