TTR replacement plastic

Hey all, I am new to the site and have a question...
A pine tree recently removed the front fender of my Yamaha TTR 225. I have done some searching and there seems to be no direct fit fenders. I came across some info that says YZ fenders will work. Can anyone confirm this or tell me what year and model YZ fender I can use? I don't mind trimming the plastic if I need to, I just hate to order a fender to discover it won't fit.
