tuning and power band

Im getting an 02 kdx 200. im used to 4 stroke and I dont now anything about tunning or how to ride a power band. is it easy to learn or should I ride a four stroke thumper. also how often should I do a top end and at what price$$$$$.

1. Powerband is simply where a 2 stroker makes most of it's power. You get used to it.
2. Just like anything... depends on how hard you use it. Most woodsriders only rebuild every couple of years if that and usually only 2 bills ($200 or so). I'm sure CC will jump in here and explain everything in fine detail, I just am short on words 'cause I type all day long. :)
