TWMC Sunrise Enduro This Sunday 5-2

I'll be there early Saturday morning - we're gonna be scouting trail for the GhostRider on Saturday if anyone wants to join in.

No can do. I'll be in Vegas for the supercross.

I'm still begging my wife for a Sat departure.

Not sure yet.... It was hot out there yesterday, 95 @ 6:30pm (on my way home from Mammoth)

Right now it looks like it will be between 85 & 90 by finish time. Im takin a wait & see, Im in for fun, hot = no fun.

Got clearance, be there Sat evening. I'm not sure if the race will be more difficult after a 3 month layoff, or packing up my canopy and camping gear Sunday just in time for the noon heat. I think I'll leave the astroturf mat at home this time.

I'm actually going to make this one! I've only raced one event this whole year, and I'm really itching to ride. Like kelso, I'm a little concerned about racing after the three month lay off, but I can't wait to be on the bike. I'll just start mentally preparing myself to get spanked by Eel!

The weather report keeps changing on weather.com. Tuesday, the forecast was for low high 80's to 90's, now it's saying 99 for Sunday.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 90s and lows in the upper 50s.
Sunday: Fair. Highs in the upper 90s and lows in the low 60s.

I hope they adjusted the course speeds accordingly this year. I've talked to one of the trail bosses, and he claims that they did.

This is one of my favorite places to ride, so even if I suck, I know I'll at least have fun!

If it's really in the mid 90's Saturday, I'll probably be found in my trailer with the A/C running full blast.

I am going to try and make it, if it ends up at 95+, I wont plan on working too hard to stay on time. Ill start drinking the extra water today, :^ )

Anyone have a route sheet yet?

Wow, talk about a few speed changes! If I counted right, there are about 40 lines to the program! My thumb is going to be sure before I get done with this one!

The forecast keeps changing, but the one thing that's for sure, ITS GONNA BE HOT! Looks like the last loop has about 8 miles at 30+ mph. Wow, I thought they said they were gonna tone it down for the heat this year.

I'm sure it's going to be a fun race no matter what. I love railing those washes in the Sand Hills out there.

Ok, I'm drooling on the Keyboard, better go get the trailer and start loading up!
