I ride a 99 KDX with the regular go fast goodies. Now lately a have had 2 quite mentionable tumbles, in both cases the front wheel whasing out. I still run the stock front suspension, and realize that I need to install +- .40 springs as recomended in previous threads. I am not the only KDX rider in the group, and some of the riders who I usually smoked easily is now roosting me (I am quite a bit heavier). Something is wrong.... (Very frustrating)

1) What is the correct tyre pressure for general trail riding, with faster sandy stuff ? Will tyre pressure make a big difference ?

2) Will upgraded front springs make a mentionable difference, espescially in fast berm type turns...

I accept that I am not the worlds fasted rider, but I feel SERIOUS limitations on the good old KDX.

In the sand I run 12 psi and in the hard stuff 15-16 psi. I'm 6'2" 200lbs and I am running stock suspension with no problems. Have you set your sag yet as I found that this made a big difference for me.:)
