How big was his lead this time? Can't believe it could be bigger than Moto 1 at Kenworthy's but RC is unbelieveable.

RC was pretty good but Ferry stayed with him the entire 2nd moto. If anyone is going to beat RC, it's Ferry. Ferry was jumping half the height off the jumps as anyone else. I'd say he was even lower than RC. Larocco look very good too and had a soild 3rd.

Bubba was impressive to see to. He pulled a huge lead in the first moto and then seemed to fade and Reed caught and passed him. In the press interview he said that he got arm pump and let Reed by but the rock spray was so bad that he re-passed him and held onto the lead.

In the 2nd moto Jessman was on a mission. He never let Bubba out of sight. Walker was probably even more impressive with his run upto 3rd in the 2nd moto. There's a new fire under Matt.

One thing I noticed at the race was that it sounded like the four stroke nationals. There were a lot of fourstrokes. I have to say though that they were spread all over the field which goes to show that it's mostly rider and not the bike. The track was loamy (and rocky) which should have favored 4 strokes but I saw lots of tham at the end of the pack.

The most impressive part of the track was at the uphill just before the screw you. Yuo had to be in the mechanic's area to really appreciate it but the 125's were taking that hill in 5th gear, wide open. When you're standing right next to the track and looking down the hill towards them, it is awe inspiring. (Pro pit passes are a nice thing to have :))

Is that why we couldn't find you all day?

I was wondering what happened to Bubba in the first moto.
Are you talking about that long righthanded sweeper that led to screw you hill? Watching the riders attack that stretch was incredible! :aj:

I don't understand the significance of that. Anyone care to explain?

The other spot that really interested us was the long left hand uphill to a 180 turn that just dropped off into nothing! :)

The sooner you get back on the ground, the sooner you can get the power back to the ground. It shaves time off the laps for these riders. Jump low, land quick, and get on the gas. Time spent in the air is wasted.

So you're telling me I need to stay low off of jumps? Heck, if that's the case, I should be blazin' fast since my tires rarely leave the ground!
