I bought my new 06'RM250 in the crate to be sure I get the bike in perfect condition and well assembled. Instead, the bike was misaligned in the crate and one radiator was squashed. Also, one peg was sticking out the box and was all scratched. The dealer isn't sure he can do something about it. I can't believe it. I just have to tell someone, or everyone :bang:

Get a hold of a regional rep. The dealer should take care of you - unless you signed a damaged crate disclosure and the bike was discounted accordingly.

No, I did not sign any of that. it was supposed to be new. Thanks for the tip. I will try to see if I can find a local rep.

That's why most dealers don't (or can't) sell crate bikes, and why it's not always that good an idea to buy 'em that way.

When I inspected my streetbike while still in the crate at the dealer, I found two body parts that needed to be replaced. A third was scratched but it was in a spot you really couldn't see. The dealer, of course, replaced the parts.

All is good. The dealer gave me a new radiator and will use the pictures I took to claim it from Suzuki. The radiator was 560$ canadian. ouch.
