"Uncorking" a TT-R 125

Ok. So i've got a friend with a TTR 125 and he complains about it not having any power so i am wondering what "Uncorking" it is. Is this merely a mod or is it like pipes and such??

Uncorking is refering to taking airflow restrictions out. Yes it is a mod. Do a search for ttr 125 airbox mods or take a look at my gallery. I don't have detailed instructions, but the photos are pretty much self-explanitory.

Getttng a pipe that flows better is also a worthwile investment.

drilling airbox, (rejet after), new pipe, (rejet after) hi-flo airfilter from BBR, BBR pipe, etc. i personally havent invested tht much into the ttr because i am saving for an '03 KX125. i have drilled the airbox, and i also put a 14tooth front sprocket on, and that helps the speed department a lot, but its still slow. i didnt rejet because i am at a high altitude and the increased airflow evened the jetting out.

oh yeah BBR also sells fork and shock springs that are stiffer, i f i can remember they're 100 bucks for the fork and 90 for the rear shock.
