I was looking at some frames online for Yammie 650's, and the exhaust ports are very far outboard. It seems like most frames for them have the downtubes between the exhausts, but I think they could fit in the frame on these.

I've seen a few racing frames for them before, and the name brand ones are vastly superior in quality to what is shown in the pics.

The frame could have been a custom twin schock flat tracker that got hacked up for the Uni-Trak. Not surprising a custom or semi-custom would not have VIN.

I suspect the frame pre-dates the motor and MX running gear, which appears to be very early '80s. So that would place the frame as 1970's, and the Yammie twin was a likely candidate for a flat tracker on a budget. Maybe a British twin could have fit in there as well.

upon further review, that looks like a Kawasaki Uni-Trak dogbone type linkage, but that frame looks amazingly craptastic.
