I have found a deal to good to be true. Its a 1999 cr250 for sale for 1 grand. It is being sold by a pawn shop. They say they have no title. I think i'm going to buy it tomorrow, the engine started on the first kick and sounded good. I did not ride the bike yet. Well, I was wondering, where can i get the vin # checked to see if it was stolen. Or has anyone had a 99 cr250 stolen in CT recently?

call your local police department, give them the number and have them run it. that's what i did the last time i bought a non-titled bike.

I'm going to do that tomorrow, I'm going down with 950 bucks cash in my hand. I'm gonna get the frame powder coated and maybe some eric gorr engine work. What does BTW stand for?

I just got the bike home. Its way nicer than i thought. I paid 1000 for it. I did recieve a bill of sale with the pervious owners name. This bike is fast! It wheelies in every gear with out the clutch. I cant wait to see how it feels on the track. The only thing wrong with it is one fork seal is leaking, maybe now i can justify a revalve for my weight hahah.

Great deal!! I wish I could find something like that.. But I still don't think it beats my friends deal on his 1996 YZ250, he paid $400 for it.

nah not selling it yet, but thats what i picked the bike up for last season to take place of my 96 rm250 I had. The bike looked brand new when i picked it up, thought it was going to need some sort of work but it was perfect condition.
