using a 90/100/21 front tire on a 125

I read in an article in MXA a few months ago about how Dunlop and Bridgestine will be making this particular sized front tire available to the public.It is supposed to give you more front wheel traction because it is 10mm wider than the standard 80/100/21 giving the same effect as using a 20" front wheel. I am thinking about trying one out, but I am concerned that the extra weight will cause excessive drag on the 125. I think I read in Eric's book than you shouldn't even use heavy duty tubes in a 125 because of the extra weight. What do you guys think.
