Alright, right now im in school, and when i get home i need to edit a video for a school project thats due Thursday. Im pretty good at editing, I just have one question. I use Windows Movie Maker, I dont know how many people use this but whenever I have edited past videos, you could make the clip shorter by dragging the clips edge. The only problem is, when you do it it doesnt cut it excess video off precisely, when you drag the clip it goes in like, increments. Is there a setting I could turn on or something I can do that would cut it more accurately? I have clips that need to be cut with precision. I've haven't played around with stuff on WMM much so im not sure if thats possible.

Expand the timeline out so you can edit more precisely. Or, use the frame by frame advance button in the preview window until you get it where you want it, then select that as the end trim point. It doesn't get any more precise than that!
