Villopoto Injured While Testing

Following a lead posted on Steve Giberson's Motodrive message board, TransWorld Motocross has confirmed that two-time AMA Motocross Lites National Champion Ryan Villopoto crashed hard while testing at the Kawasaki test teack yesterday, Monday, October 15.
Villopoto crashed spectacularly over a triple jump and was knocked unconscious. The defending Western Region Supercross Lites Champion suffered a broken collarbone in the crash, but it has not yet been determined whether he will have it surgically repaired or not.

For Villopoto, this must feel like deja vu, as he suffered an identical injury just prior to the start of the 2006 Supercross season.

Wow. I wonder if there will be any vids of this that pop up on the net. That sucks Villopoto is a great rider.

That does suck. I'm hoping to see the day when RV beats JS for a title (SX or MX).

Yeah I read that on TWMX too. Will he still be able to race the supercross season?
