A while back I noticed that my front brake seemed a little squishy and not very powerful. While it would lock the front wheel up, it took more pressure to do that than I could muster with one finger. After riding on a friend's brand new kx450f and feeling how solid the brakes were, I knew that I needed to get my old 1998 yz125 to perform better.

Parts:

Oversized rotor ~$150
new pads (sintered series) ~$30
braided brake line ~$50
Master cylinder rebuild kit (OEM) ~$25

Now, I can easily throw myself off of the bike with one finger on the brake lever .

I don't know which part of the of the puzzle made the biggest impact, but altogether my brake feels almost like a brand new bike.

Or you could have searched some forums on hear and they would have either told you to back bleed your system or push the caliper piston in and out a few times and your brake would have been fixed for free. I don't know, just me.
