Got a heads up this morning from my IT guy that he was to start logging internet activity this week. Reports are going right to the top. Also said he logged last week, not to report to anyone, and there was a giant spike in the chart with my name all over it. Imagine that! ;) Apparently, the refresh rate on chat will drive the activity meter off the chart, and also the time spent online will be compared to the sites visited. Anywho, no more chat, except at lunch. :whiner: And probably not much jumping on every 15 minutes, either. You'll see me at 9AM, Noon, and 2PM CST from now on. Damn the man! But cheers to my admin bud for the heads up before it went down.

I feel for ya man :( I found out we had some server problems last night and they are in the process of fixing them so I get access until then. I doubt you will see me on here tomorrow.

Signed the Internet use policy at work years ago. Every year we get a refresher on Internet abuse and the companies policy. One day I will go down. But only after 4,000 other people do first. See you in court buddy. If they ( MANAGEMENT ABOVE YOUR LEVEL ) implement a policy and don't strictly adhere to it's rules or in general tolerate behaviour in violation of other policies you can at least fight back with unfair dismissal. Won't get your job back but it will get some other levels above you terminated for allowing the infringement.

My opinion, not worth banking on, but at least a thought as they walk you out the door.

This is actually the 2nd time they've issued it...the first time many people didn't sign it and hand it in. I actually did, but didn't adhere to it. I think I'll try that again!

Is it true if you delete your cookies, history, and offline content that they can't catch you?
