I'm sure this has been talked about a 100 times but what ta heck.
I was getting spring fever and running my stock KDX220, except air box mod , up and down the drive way . It only ran OK , not real clean and wouldn't rev out.
I had a new FMF desert / rev pipe and Turbine Core 2 silencer in the basement but was holding off because I wanted to see how the " stock bike ran ".
Well yesterday was 50+ degree's here and I couldn't wait , on it went , with a FRP torque ring.
This is not the same bike !! Idles better , starts better , and still with the stock 33 mm carb , this thing rips thru the gears.
I'm going to a 35mm carb but I'd say it would run just fine with the stock carb for the average trail rider. I'm just an average rider ,, just not smart enough to leave it alone. :coocoo:
