What are the best resources for gaining knowledge

Hello All, I’m trying to make my learning curve as short as possible in regard to all of the tips or tools I’ll need to know when my grandson starts competing later this fall. What magazines or publications are house hold names to all of you, which you review religiously for the next best tip or tool?

You'll learn far more on the forums than you will in magazines.
There are some great books out there to get you started, look for anything by Eric Gorr.
