What bike should I get?

Hey. I've never had a dirt bike before, so here's some info:

1) I'm about 6'0" and 175lbs.
2) I am moderately physical/agressive.
3) I plan to do multiple riding, MX, AX, and just to go places.
4) I have no dirt biking experience.
5) I think I will race.
6) I am pretty mechanically inclined and will be working on it.
7) I have no idea between the difference between a 2 or 4 stroke.
8) I have 2 dealers close by and they sell a very wide variety of bikes.
9) Not too much, around $1,000 or less.

Any help please?

Get yourself a 250. Four stroke will be easier to learn to ride. And forget about less than $1000. The number should be $3000 and even $4000.

you should start out on a 125 2-stroke un til u get the hang of it then when you get used to rideing and raceing onit you should then move up to a 250 2-stroke how ever you will not find a new one for 1000 or less u should go around 2000 to 7000 because i paid 6000 for my 2007 suzuki 250

Not much to get for 1,000. Go for a mid 90's 125 2 stroke.
