if you're coming off of that ttr, and assuming u fit, get an 85.

And since you live in CA, you should look at '02s and earlier to get a green sticker bike. Theres plenty of used 85's out there, you just have to weed out the bad ones. You can get a nice one fairly cheap too. Once you sell the TTR, you should have more than enough to get something nice.

why must i keep cloning your posts :think: ;) . since youre racing, youll probably get killed if you started on an 85, and i know plenty of kids that race 65's at your height/weight. get a KX65, or if you feel like spending the extra money, get a KTM.

Opps, I'm glad Kawicam250 chimed in, I didn't realize you said you were going to race. An 85 will be a handful to race, beacuse its much larger. An 85cc is about the same size as a TTR125L, so that's why I suggested the 85. To race, definitly go with the 65s. And make sure you check out the mini forum too!

kawicam250, its ok i like they way you fraise things better.

Mx_rider7, the KX65 is great but stock the KTM SX65 will eat it alive. As far as stock i would look into buying a KTM over the Kawasaki.
