At your height, you may want to sit on a couple of different bikes to see which ones fits you the best. The Kawasaki KX 250 seems taller than the RM and CR. I'm talking about seat height. Also, the KX has the ability to be bored out to a 310cc, whereas Honda can only go as big as 265cc. (I think!!) I personally own a 2001 KX 250 and have been very pleased with the performance of the bike, but it did lack "fit and finish" quality compared to Honda. The plating in the cylinder is also very thin compared to some of the other manufacturers. My biggest gripe is, that the paint starts to chip off the frame after some hard riding, ehich really looks like ****. The honda, however, has a bare aluminum frame that you can simply polish out minor scratches and scuffs. The honda, in my opinion, just plain looks better.....longer!!
