Compression, Fuel, Spark

I need to know which problem my bike has so i can find out the cause and how to fix it.

mostly been testing the bike now with new sparkplugs and smaller size main jets, so far not much progress, it's true what they say this bike is literally impossible to jet but i am trying.

i need to get a compression test done, i got the tool but kickstart is shagged and needs a few parts, i guess a tow-bumpstart will reveal accurate readings for compression.

then spark, someone told me maybe the coil is bad on my bike because it used to be a wild beast but now it struggles to rev and have a hard time keeping the old girl running for a long period of time.

what would cause the symptoms of low revving in my bike? this would most likely help in fixing it, the bike once started should rev like hell right when u give it enough gas.

maybe the bike is making spark but not strong enough?

i need to start focusing on the area that needs the most attention i'm not quite sure if the jetting is the main problem here, it is likely to be compression or spark issue

Yes i was also thinking that maybe i shold have jetted richer instead of lean.
but i am sure there is more then a jetting problem with the bike i think there is a compression or spark problem to because i can't understand jetting making the bike run as bad as it is, it just don't make sense.
in all throttle positions, the bike is not reving verry good.

ok next thing i'm gunna test is i will put new plug in, put the carb back to stock settings that are listed in my repair manual, because i remember the last time i tried this setting i was using an old sparkplug which i later found out it was no longer working lol

riden a 91 so ive change bout every part in my bike and had many problems, it sounds like a bad conection on the pick-up, i would check plug for a really consitant strong spark then get the book and check resistance on all electrical parts.

if you are lean all over in the jetting you bike will die out when trying to open it up. it will be starving for fuel so def try going richer just as a start as well as float height adj is proper spec. If its electrical good luck cause that crap can be a real pain

i advise you not to call your bike a pos. just in case you want to sell it on here someday.
