What range does a pipe leak affect?

I recently fixed a massive engine to pipe leak. I fixed the leak, and am wondering what RPM ranges it'd affect in terms of jetting. Does it affect the main since that's when the pipe starts doing it's sound waves and all that? Or just all the way up and down?
And does sealing a leak like that make it run richer or leaner?

I'd say the change would affect top end but probably not enough to notice or work on the main jet.

IMHO it would change it across the board since the 2-stroke works off the reversion wave in the pipe to scavage exhaust etc.

Right, but when you're "on the pipe", that's when the pipe's doing what it does. So it might me mainly in the upper ranges. It's not extremely important though.
