What year is my engine????

hey guys, went to go get some reeds for my 91 Rm250, boyesen, and they only had two screws to hold them on while the ones on the bike had 3 screws. We take out the reed cage and it had been ported by someone, and is not the stock reed cage, and it is not a aftermarket boyesen cage either. The frame's vin number says the bike is a 91 rm 250, and the engine id is :
J110-111146

any help is appreciated,

It is a way to check if the bike is stolen but it will also tell you the year of the bike i think.

If it's not the stock reed cage, and it's not a Boyesen, what difference does the year of the bike or motor make? Take the reed cage to a shop that stocks reeds and match them up. If that dosen't work, measure the reeds and go to the Boyesen web site. They should be able to help you match them up.
