what's a bike like this worth? The guy is local to me and i'd love to pick it up as a fun bike. I was hoping to grab it for about 1700 but he says he wants 2200. Am i unreasonable at 17? How about 18?

You'd spend a grand on a new stock XR50. All the extras would cost at least $1500. If you can get it for 2K or less, I'd say go for it.

Definetly if you can get that bike for under 2 Grand you should get it but anything over 2 grand would be a little crazy. Hope this helps at all
