My whole life ive rode bikes and watched races and have never seen the kind of people attracted to the sport lately. Not a dis but an observation that a lot of people are showing up at the track lately pulling a lil trailer behind thier BMW or Lexus, or the occasional hummer. I grew up in a motocross world where most people off the track were blue collar (mostly construction) people who drove trucks, worked hard, played hard and didnt mind getting dirty. I see more pretty bikes and spotless gear now than ever. Also a lot of one hour sessions. I guess those soft callous-less hands hurt to much after a few laps. Perhaps its just California.
