Where 2 ride in the Sonoma Marin county, California area ?

I have only been in the area a year now and have bought me another XR650. Other than the obvious Cow mountain, is there any where close to Sonoma or Marin Counties to ride off road, legally ? :bang: :think:

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.

Check out the SoCal Wrecking Crew forum for opportunities to hook up with some fellow DRNers in your state. Most are south of where you are located, but they may know of locations near your area. You might also check out the Places to Ride Info, Please Read. thread in the Places To Ride / Organized Rides forum for information as well.

There are some places around there. Here are a few http://www.ohv.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=1170. Ive heard of a area around Sonoma that you have to put in for a lottery and they let only a few join per year for a large private area. My friend is a member and loves it, but I dont know the details right now. There are areas around Lake Pilsbury. Most of the places that come to my mind will require a little bit of a drive. But I dont live right in that area.
