where can little guys ride in NW?

can anyone reccomend a place in the Portland, Or area to bring our small children to ride? they just got thier first yz50 and we are looking to bring them somewhere other than a track to get use to the bike. we usually go as adults to the tillamook forrest, but it's all tight trail riding, not kid friendly for new inexperienced riders.
any suggestions would be appreciated!
