Where to camp and ride in Central Valley, CA

My buddy and I are thinking of taking our girlfriends up camping this weekend. We're looking for somewhere we can camp, and ride next to a lake or something like that, so our girlfriends can stay busy while we ride (they don't ride). We would like to find somewhere with some difficult trails and jumps if possible, but probably somewhere with a lake is most important. Thanks.

The Miami Creek area is close to the south entrance of Yosemite and about 15 minute drive from Bass Lake, about 1 hour east of Fresno.

Lake Pillsbury - NW of Clear Lake. Not the Central Valley but there are trails & you could probably ride Middle Creek/Penny Pines/CC Camp.

I haven't been there in a while but Morningstar campground is up by
Foresthill. It's on a private campground on a small lake, I think it's Big Reservoir and there is also Sugar Pine reservoir close. When I was there (a few years ago) you could just push your bike out of the campground and ride the trails which are all marked woods trails.
