where to ride in So Cal.

I am sort of new to the area and am looking for some good trails to ride. I'm not much of a fan to crowded tracks. The only places I have been are off of Ortega Hwy. and Ocitillo Wells, I would like to find something up north. Also I would like to meet a few ridders down here, I'm pretty much a loner.
