I live in Windsor, Ca, 1 hr north of San Fransisco. I just purchased 2 xr50's and 1 jr50 for my boys, but I am having a heck of a time finding a place to take them where they can learn to ride. They have no experience, and, since I don't have a bike yet, I can't take them for a ride. So does anyone from this area know of a spot that has some large fields or clear areas where I can turn the boys loose so they can get a little experience? There are too many vineyards around here, and so people don't want to let you ride in their fields because they are afraid you'll trying riding in the grapes.

Thanks for your help.

Here's a link to many of CA's 'official' riding areas.

I think Cow Mountain is closest for you, but Upper Lake/Middle Creek is probably not much farther. The main staging area at Middle Creek is CC Camp. It's about 10 miles north of Upper Lake on Elk Mountain Road. There is level area that would probably suit your needs.

Make sure you have spark arrestors and current green stickers.
