My son has a 1998 YZ80 that's been bored out to 100cc's. It has an FMF Fatty pipe and Turbine Core II silencer, Flywheel weights, mild porting, stock reeds and the stock 26mm roundslide carb. I'm looking to hop it up a bit and I was considering V-Force reeds with either a 28mm round slide w/power jet or a 28mm flat slide carb. What's your opinion?

Thanks

does the power jet carb use the throttle position sensor that wires into the ignition? have you considered this may cause a problem or not.

I think the flat side is better, only because if im not mistaken it....well for a lack of words.."smashes" the fuel and atomises better which if I'm not mistaken, the bigger displacement on the bike will make more bottom end and might help the fuel combustion better.
