i know it depends on region and such.i'm in a position now where it is time to finish/get a degree. the prelim AES looks like the way to go with the comm college. but you've got your BS in electrical eng and BS in computer sciences. i've got the back ground in electronics and would be able to coast or clep (any type of test) out of quite a few hours there, but.....i looks like all the job openings around me are for your computer science stuf. here's the easy part, personally i don't care which, it's all about the money and markettability down the road. here's the rub, degree smagree...when i finish my AES i'm sending out the resume to all prospects, even if they require a BS. thing is, it looks like alot of prospects are looking for specific network exp (ie. tech training) but , i don't want to continue down that road. technical tng as opposed to a degree. i'm pretty much jsut marking time here, and have the plan. i just had to post something on the boards as my eyes are crossed and bean baked from all the time spent online these past weeks, researching, testing, preparing a plan to move ahead, not maintain. ya know, come to think of it. i should "take my question and be glad i can walk away" :worship:
