I need to buy a manual, which publisher do you prefer? I have a Haynes for my corvette and it seems to lack some year specific details. The Clymer manual I found is for 1989-95 80's thru 250's. Does anyone sell model/year specific manuals?
I would say try and find a factory manual, i have one right now and i can tell you, it has everything. try lookin on ebay, or go to a dealer that might be able to order one.
After having Haynes manuals for some of my roadbikes then ettin a Clymer manual for my KX 500 I think Clymer are quite a bit better than Haynes.
The Haynes ones seem to say replace part if worn but the clymer ives more dervice tolerances so you know how worn it is, they also have a better advice on making your own special tools.
I would go with the Clymer every time.
Might be worth going through the manual and highlighting sections relevant to your bike cos they cover a few bikes, mine does 125s250s and 500s from about (I think) 83-93 not that the 500s have chaned much since 93 though
I can't comment on factory manuals cos I have never had one.
