when i was a kid, i had a kd100 kawasaki, one thing i liked about that bike was low torque, and it was small and easy to walk wheelies if i drag my feet.

i'd like to have a little play bike again for the yard, cotton field, and stroll in bigger woods, maybe even a stroll to lbl one day...

i like the little 70 i rode, but it was small and wasnt powerful enough,, but almost...i like the way you can ride it slow and not run out of space to fast.

i'm 5.11 and 175 pounds.

so which one, 100. 150 or 230,, which one easy to wheelie?

sean.

You probably want a 100, as the 150 and 230 are 33 and 34 inch seat heights, which isn't much smaller than a full size bike. They are also a little heavy for easy, playing around, the 230 is 216 lbs dry.

The 100 is like 150 lbs and a 30" seat height. Much better for a smaller bike to play in the yard on.

Check the Honda website for the full specs.

the 100 is 30.9in. on the seat height and 165lbs. dry( my friend owns one, fixing to sell) the crf 150 is ( i think) about 33.7in. on the seat height and 216lbs. dry ( no, im not lying) the 230 is like 34.8in. on the seat height and like 240- 260lbs. we can do wheelies on the 100 easy. the 230 would be the hardest 1: weight 2: bigger compared to the 100 and 150. the 150 would be harder than the 100 because it weighs almost as much as a 450 ( its ridiculous!!!). in real world terms, youre way too big for any of these bikes. look at 250f's. you dont even have to lean back on those things!

Ok, so I was off a little in my numbers, that was off the top of my head, and I'm far from familiar with the specs of those bikes.

If you reread the post, he already has a bike, but wants something to play around on in his yard. I don't think a 250F is exactly what he has in mind for farting around on the lawn and in the driveway.

Go for the 100. As soon as I have some spare cash I plan on picking up another XR100R for a pit/play/learner bike. I had a 1985 XR100R but had to sell it. The 100s are so easy to throw around yet still make enough power to play on. I love doing the walking wheelies.

I just bought the 230. I know its not a beast power wise but its a pretty nice bike for what it is. The 150 isn't that much smaller than the 230 but I'd say it would be to small for you. I'm 5' 9'' and the 230 fits me about perfect.
