since the 2-stroke are going to be a dying breed i want to get one that wont be just another bike but one that parts will be available for for a long time. I'll be doing hard trail riding and maybe a novice hare scramble, ill most likely be going off some small jumps so decent suspension will needed. im 5'8'' 125, and i go to the gym often so i have some muscle. My price range isnt an issue because ill be paying for half of it(rents pay the rest). Right now my options are 05 yz125,05 cr125r, and 05 or 06kdx200. Im leaning towards the kdx but the yz might be better in the long run. Which one should i get?

I agree with trail rider, the cr and yz have nice suspensions but are pipey, the kdx has a more usable power band for trail riding, scrambles and enduros, its suspension suited for trail and can handle jumps fine, at 125lbs. you wont have to change a thing. If you want to mx then get the mx'ers
