I am looking at buying an enclosed trailer in the next month or so. The brands that I have been looking at are Haulmark and United Expressline. Anyone have any reviews on either of these trailers? I also looked into Wells Cargo, but their product is alomost twice as expensive. Anyone have any other brands that they purchased and really liked or disliked. Thanks.

I saw the other thread about toy haulers. Most of those were referencing longer trailers and/or fifth wheel-not for me. I am looking at a 7x14 or 7x16 cargo hauler with the interior that I will set up to suit my needs.

Bigger is usually better. I'd recommend the no internal wheel well option. I ended up with a Pace, but the Haulmark was a close second. It came down to the dealer for me. I agree that the Wells is a bit overpriced compared to the Haulmark.

I dont know how far you wanna drive, but I just purchased the MC-6 from Haulmark from a company called Gale Trailers. www.galetrailers.com. I got the enclosed 6x12 with a couple upgrades at it was something like $2,400. I have not received it yet, it is still being built. I called a company that was local to me to ask if they could match the price so I could avoid the 3 hr trip to pick it up and he said I'll sure try. When I told him the price he said you better call them back and buy it, so I did. hope this helps.

I own a landscaping service in PA. I have used them all! Here is what I found:

i am down to a TRITON aluminum 6x12- awesome trailer but it does have a price on it because it is top notch quality and all aluminum.

I have a Pace American enclosed- I looked at 12 different brands of enclosed trailers before I bought this one. They all use the same .030 thickness aluminum siding except for Haulmark (i think) which is only .028. They all have the same axles (Dexter) The price differences is ridiculous between brands.

The axles can be either leaf springs or torsion bars. Torsion bars are more expensive, need maintanace, and do nothing! I put thousands of miles on these trailers every year with very heavy payloads on them. I dont remove my equipment during the season so the trailers are always loaded for 9 months. You will NOT notice any difference with the torsion bars suspension, at least I cant.

The best Bang for the buck, PACE, hands down. If you got a Haulmark for the price you said, sounds like a good deal. my Pace 6x12 was $2400 in 2000 at Home Depot! They will give huge discounts if the trailer is damaged in any way, so look one over and get the manager. Hope this helps
