i bought windows XP yesterday (legaly) and saw that you can change your user icon to a guy jumping on a dirt bike. so a big great job has to goto microsoft for includeing our sport! go here for a screenshot

Smells fishy to me

I dont know, but that interface sure reminds me of Mac OS X! The translucent feel is straight Apple stuff! :think

Seems like alot of Windows upgrades resemble the Mac OS. :)

Its just too bad the Mac doesnt have cool MX games like the PC, tho. The best we can get is Dirt Bike 3D. And believe me, the "3D" isnt really dimensional. More like 2D at best. :(

I've been thinking about snagging a copy....somewhere :cool:

Is it as stable as they claim? Or is it too early to tell.

I've been running it for months (8?) from RC1, 2 and 3. Installed the final release yesterday. Even the Release Candidates were stable. Better than 98 by a LONG shot.

yeah i got the betas like 5 months ago from a student at the university of florida and got a final version a month ago, but went and bought it yesterday. it is SO much better than 98, it's alot faster and alot more stable. the only thing i don't like is that my puter looks like a fisher-price toy, also some old games don't work well. and from what i hear not all devices work with xp. but all of mine do. do you need it??? yes, YES, YES!!!! it hasn't even locked up on me once. if your really not sure...wait for the first service pack then get it

I was in Best Buy last night checking out ideas for a new TV and cruised by the computer area. Changed EVERY ONE of the systems over to the dirt bike :p
