Does anybody have any experience with Wiseco's Hotrod crank in a kx65? Do they hold up better than stock or are they about the same quality?

Al.

We have used the Hot Rods in my grandsons KX65. Not the entire crank just the rod and pin assembly. They seem to last longer than stock. It helps to vee out the oil slot in the big end of the rod to let more oil in and also to run as much clearance on the rod shims as the cases will allow.

Just my $ .02

Thats what I was hoping to here. Does anybody know if the entire crank
(Wiseco) takes into account the lack of oiling with better slots?

Not as much as they should. You may want to dissasemble the crank and Vee the oil slot out as much as you can.
