I'm in the middle of rebuilding my 2001 kx250. i ordered a wiseco psiton kit in place of the stock unit. it was supposed to come with rings, but, it never. i have a set of unused stock rings here, but i'm wondering if it's possible to use these on the aftermarket piston.
i had to replace my cylinder as welll, as on the last run, the bike decided to throw out the circlip from the piston, and i don't want to ruin my new cylinder by using the wrong set of rings. can i do this??
the dealer doesn't have any rings in stock, and they won't be able to order them till monday.
