wont start in gear

If my bike doesnt start in gear this means that?????????? my bike will also creep if i click it into gear does this mean that i need a new basket?

That would be my guess. Check the cable adjustment and if it is good I would pull the cover and take a look at the basket. It will prolly have deep notches in it

Does this only happen when it's (the bike) cold? If so I think this is normal for most bikes.

i went riding to day and it started in gear twice but i wasent ready for the creep and it died. i dident really pay too much attention to it but i sould go out sunday i remember that

Check the cable adjuster. It could have come loose.
