does a 250cc motocross 2 stoke engine have vlave timing as after a engine rebuild engine does not seem to be sucking fuel from carb as it wont start after countless kicks checked spark plug and it was bone dry cleaned carb and jets but still nothing

there fine i even poured a little fuel in top of carb and it fired up

Ok, if it fired up after you "poured a little fuel in top of carb and it fired up" thne it would seem that you've got a fuel feed prob. I know it seems elementary, but the first thing I always do is think "Fuel, spark, air" If you've got them it should go. Check that fuel is getting to the engine. Check that you've got a spark. Check that the airways aren't blocked. Once you've done that, you should have an idea of what direction you're going in.
