Works Connection was established back in 1989 with the goal of producing factory level ‘Works’ parts for the serious racers/riders. Over the last 32 years our parts have been used on almost every Factory Bike in professional racing. We work a 4×10 schedule Monday-Thursday 7:00-5:30
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The product developer/manufacturing specialist will be responsible for new-product design, current product producing (manufacturing) and quality control. This position would keep track of product development and work with our in-house fabrication process as well as working with our vendors (machine shops and fabrication shops).
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- New product development from concept to completion, writing instructions and test fitting prototype and production products on bikes.
- Photographing products for instructions and marketing purposes.
- Produce and maintain detailed development notes throughout the development process.
- Assist with producing products with our in-house Amada Press Brake equipment.
- Assist with packaging options, product labels, QR codes etc.
- Assist with Customer Service on product related questions.
- Detail-oriented, organized, punctual and energetic.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in FUSION 360 and/or Solidworks.
- 3D-drawing capabilities.
- Reverse engineering.
- Parts production.
- Product development.
- Sheet-metal-fabrication experience.
- CNC-machining experience.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
