got a new to me 04 wr250f and had a chance to ride on saturday I will have to get used to the bike...alot different than the kdx200

any how when I find myself in to high a gear and try to lug it there is a clanking rattle noise ...could this be the timing chain making this niose??

Could be the rear chain slapping the swingarm or possibly piston slap. It's not a good idea to lug your engine.

yeah this one does not like to be luged..I can to a certain point but it likes to be reved out...kinda wierd having an xt350 and kdx200 its like in between those as far as engine goes ...almost electric like
