Heads-up to new Kdx owners: I noticed on 3 new kdx 220 2003 that the throttle cable is not routed as per the shop manual instructions and this could be a problem. The throttle cable was routed over (instead of under) the left rad support bracket. It is obvious to me that the constant rubbing could damage the cable. When I prompted the service guy at my dealer, he told me that the cables are factory routed. Just to play on the safe side, I re-routed the cable and slipped on a rubber hose where the cable intersect the rad.
