after watching the"hurricane" take shape before my very eyes and meeting the principles invovled (thunder 33 and big lou) i am motivated to begin the wz "death from above".jeremy did my suspension, i did the bk mod and cut the throttle stop tonight(yeh, i know, but it was plenty fast for me before). the future mods will be a big gun exhaust system, i'll try lous' clutch lever mod, cheaper than juicer, 13 tooth counter and possibly a 48 tooth rear, yz tank and seat with ceet cover(those go on tomorow) also "super cool" custom "death from above" graphics on new yz plastic, from dick nickle productions. last but not least, since lou did such a finely detailed job on the "hurricane" i was thinking about kicking some of the mud off the bike when i'm finished. maybe even polish the rims, maybe.

You might want to consider a 52 rear instead of the counter. It shortens the wheelbase, and the bike will turn better. ;)

Ya, I'll second Wayneo's comment. I have the 13/50 combo on my "WZ" and the chain could be a link or so shorter. 14/52 would be cool.

I would HIGHLY recommend trying a YZ pipe before you pop for the Big Gun...the test results are just not there. You can score a stock YZ pipe for $50-75 on ebay....it's 3 lbs. lighter than the WR pipe and makes big power. Not to mention the Big Gun is going to be louder regardless of what insert you run. I also did the YZ timing and got rid of the fat stock needle for an ELN. It's TOP FUEL man...I mean twist/result...just like that! It honestly has more power than I'll ever be able to use in my lifetime...well unless I'm at the sand dunes, then it's ALL THAT & MORE!

i've still got the forks attatched and the engine's still in, but everything else is off. man, do you guys know ,that like, they make these things out'a about 100 or so parts. i'll take some photos tomorow night so you can see the conditions under which i operate.big lou..you better have a seat when you look at'em. it's definately combat conditions...you'll see. btw on the rear i guess i'll go 52,53 what ever it takes ;) i'll also go with the yz pipe, altho i read that the big gun gives better gains down low and you only notice the drop off at over rev. i found a system for 269$ so it's not as big a bite as 450$. i'll yz time it,yz the carb too. btw one thing, i gotta get the yz set up for where the odo used to be on the front hub. ya know, if you put 100 chimps infront of 100 wrs' in 100 years they could do this too. :aj:
